The weather agency issued the watch Friday afternoon, noting weather conditions were favourable for severe storms to develop over the region.
The alert ended for the region at around 5:30pm.
A severe thunderstorm watch has also ended for southern Huron County.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
