UPDATE: Police Locate Missing Woman

Update: London police announced Friday afternoon that Tiffany Vanderschel has been found safe.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 40-year-old woman in the London area.

The London Police Service says Tiffany Vanderschel of London was last seen in the area of Egerton St. at Frances St., on Thursday at around 5pm. Police and family are concerned for her welfare.

Vanderschel is described as a white female, 5'9" tall, 180-200 lbs, with blonde medium length hair. She was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information in regards to Vanderschel's whereabouts is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
