Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a vehicle in northwest London.

London police say the 66-year-old woman was struck by a car on Beaverbrook Ave., near Wonderland Rd. just after 9am on Friday.

Middlesex London EMS transported the woman to hospital with what they describe as serious to life threatening injuries.

The police traffic management unit is investigating the incident.

Beaverbrook Ave. between Capulet Lane and Wonderland Rd. was closed for more than five hours. Police reopened the road just before 2:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
