Garbage Truck Meets Talbot St. Bridge

The Talbot St. bridge has been struck again.

A garbage truck became stuck under the bridge around 8am Thursday, becoming the latest vehicle driven by someone who seemingly miscalcluated the distance between the road and the bridge, as well as the height of their truck.

The truck almost made it under the bridge, but got wedged in by the second I-beam, located under the north side of the bridge.

No injuries were reported, but traffic on Talbot was backed up as the truck blocked the northbound lane.
