Rain Scraps Saturday Airshow

Organizers for the Airshow London have cancelled Saturday's event because of the weather.

The decision was made after forecasts called for rain and thunderstorms Saturday afternoon.

Organizers say tickets for Saturday's event will carry through to Sunday.

"The safety and well-being of our patrons, volunteers and performers is our number one concern and responsibility," says the Chair of ALS Jim Graham in an online statement. "We know this is disappointing for those planning to attend today’s event but the weather forecast for Sunday is excellent and we hope show fans can join us then."

Anyone who can't attend Sunday's event but already has tickets will be able to use them next year.
