Motorcyclist Dies In Crash

One person is dead and another is in hospital following a crash in London involving a motorcycle.

The London Police Service says on Sunday around 5:45pm, a GMC Traverse and a motorcycle collided on Hamilton Rd and St. Julien St.

The male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. His age and name have not been released. The driver of the GMC Traverse was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers are from London.

The intersection was closed while police conducted an investigation, but it has since been reopened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
