Two Charged After Handgun Scare

London police say two men are charged after an incident that saw people threatened by a man with a gun.

Police were called around 7:10pm Sunday about reports of two males threatening people in the area of Brunswick Cr. and Brunswick Ave. It was reported that one of the males might have been armed with a handgun.

Several officers responded to the scene and, at 7:25pm, arrested two males. Officers recovered a replica handgun.

Cody Leblanc-Ashe, 20, of London faces several charges including uttering death threats, carrying a concealed weapon, assault with a weapon, and assaulting a police officer.

Tyler Gibson, 18, of Komoka is charged with uttering death threats.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
