Teens Charged After Assault, Robbery

London police say three teens are facing charges after a man was assaulted and robbed in the east end of the city.

The man was walking along Trafalgar St., near Clarke Rd. around 10:30pm on Tuesday when police allege he was assaulted by three teen boys. Police say the teens stole the man's cellphone and some cash.

A second man tried to intervene during the robbery but was threatened with a knife.

Police say the teens damaged a vehicle in the area before taking off. Officers arrested three suspects shortly after arriving on scene. The robbery victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A 17-year-old boy and a 15-year old boy, both from London, and a 15-year-old Chippewa of the Thames boy are charged with various offences.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
