Victim Of Fatal Crash Identified

Provincial police have released the name of a man killed in a two-vehicle crash northwest of London on Sunday.

Garry Trevithick, 66, of North Middlesex was killed when his pickup truck collided with a Honda van at the intersection of Ilderton Rd. and Vanneck Rd. The collision happened just after 6pm.

The driver of the van, a 46-year-old London man, was extricated from his vehicle and airlifted to hospital. His injuries are not considered life threatening. Police say he is in fair condition in hospital.

Police are still investigating the collision.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
