Police Seeking Witnesses Following Fatal Crash

Police are now looking for witnesses following a crash that claimed the life of a North Middlesex man.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Sunday around 6pm, a pickup truck collided with a Honda van at the intersection of Ilderton Rd. and Vanneck Rd., northwest of London.

The driver of the pickup truck, 66-year-old Garry Trevithick, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the van, a 46-year-old London man, was extricated from his vehicle and airlifted to hospital. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

This crash remains under investigation and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or was in the area at the time, to contact the Middlesex County OPP Lucan Detachment at 519-227-4423.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
