Sound of Gunshots Sparks An Investigation

London police are searching for two men suspected of discharging a firearm early Sunday morning.

Around 3:47am police say they received several calls about two or three loud noises that sounded like gunshots.

The area around Marconi Blvd. had been searched but no one was there. However, police did find a broken basement window at a residence, where a group of people had been seen standing.

Police say it's believed the window had been broken by a gunshot.

Based from what witnesses told police, the suspects are described as:

1. A white male, approximately 20-30 years-old, with short hair and a goatee. He was seen wearing a black and red sweater, dark blue jeans, and a dark baseball cap.

2. A white male, wearing a black and red sweater with a logo on the front, black track pants, white shoes, and a baseball cap.

Police say it's believed the two were driving a dark coloured vehicle.

The London Police Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
