Two Arrested After Downtown Bank Robbery

London police say two men are in custody after a bank robbery in the downtown core.

Around 11:45am on Tuesday, a man walked into the Bank of Montreal at 270 Dundas St. and demanded cash. Police say there was no weapon seen and the man took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers arrested two suspects within minutes of the robbery.

No injuries were reported.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
