Police Release Picture Of Jewellery Store Robbery Suspect

St. Thomas police have released a surveillance picture they hope will lead to the arrest of a suspect in a jewellery story robbery.

The photo, seen above, was taken from the surveillance video system at B&L Jewellers. On Tuesday, a man entered the store at 11:47am and demanded merchandise. The clerk went to the back of the store and the man took off, getting into a grey four door sedan. The car was last sen heading east on Mary St. E.

Police describe the suspect as a male, non-white, about 5'11", with a muscular build.

Anyone with any information is asked to call St. Thomas police or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
