Police Seek Sexual Assault Suspect

Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted in north London.

London police say a woman was walking along Adelaide St., north of Huron between 12:30am -1am on Monday when she was approached by a man. After a brief conversation police say the man grabbed and touched the woman inappropriately.

The woman was able to break free and was not physically injured during the assault.

Police are now looking for a man in his 30s described as Caucasian with a slim build and short reddish-brown goatee. He was wearing a toque, dark hooded sweat shirt, and possibly track pants. The man may speak with an accent and was walking a large, shaggy, light or reddish-coloured dog, possibly named “Molly" at the time of the assault.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
