UPDATE: Wonderland Rd. Crash Kills One

Police say one person is dead and another in serious condition following a serious two-vehicle crash in London.

The London Police Service says on Wednesday around 9:41pm, a transport truck collided with another vehicle on Wonderland Rd. at Hwy. 402. The male driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger was transported to hospital and remains in serious condition. No name has been released pending next of kin notification.

Wonderland Rd. was closed in both directions as a result of the crash, as well as the on and off ramps to Hwy. 402. It has since reopened.

The OPP previously reported that Hwy. 402 had also been closed, however, this was incorrect and the highway remained open.

No further information has been provided.
