Man Charged After Gun, Drug Bust

A 28-year-old London man is facing charges after police allege he was carrying a gun in his pants.

London police raided a home on Simcoe St. on Wednesday after getting information that a firearm might be inside. Two men were detained at the home, but a search for the firearm came up empty.

Around 4:22pm, police say the investigation led them to arrest a man in the area of Richmond St. and King St. Officers searched the man and allege that they found an unloaded .22 calibre revolver and four rounds of ammunition in his pants. They also seized a throwing knife, a small amount of cash, as well as hydromorph, oxycocet, morphine, and methamphetamine.

Sean Ward, 28, of London faces twelve charges in total.
