Knights Blank Battalion 7-0

The London Knights scored a 7-0 shutout win over the Battalion Thursday night in North Bay.

Janne Kuokkanen started things off for the Knights with their first goal 1:19 into the first period. Max Jones and Victor Mete followed with a goal each before the second. Robert Thomas and Alex Formenton both scored power play goals in the second frame. And then Cliff Pu and Brady Pataki tacked on another two unanswered goals in the third.

Goaltender Emanuel Vella made 29 saves for London.

The Knights are one the road again on Friday when they head to Sudbury to take on the Wolves at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
