Knights Take Bite Out Of Wolves

The London Knights scored a 6-4 victory over the Sudbury Wolves in OHL action Friday night.

Max Jones and Josh Nelson scored for London in the first period to give London an early lead, but Sudbury followed with two goals for their own to tie things at 2-2 going into the second.

A back-and-forth second period saw both teams score another two goals, with Sam Miletic netting a goal and Jones scoring his second of the night to tie the game again.

Robert Thomas scored 12:21 into the third to give the Knights the lead for the first time in the game. Cliff Pu follow up with a goal just under a minute left to play, to ensure the win for London.

London more than doubled the Wolves 49-20 with shots on net.

The Knights are back at home on Sunday to battle the Hamilton Bulldogs at 2pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
