SIU Looking For Witnesses To Tillsonburg Incident

Ontario's Special Investigations Unit is putting out a call for witnesses as it investigates an incident in Tillsonburg that left a man injured.

The SIU launched an investigation after OPP officers were called to a business at Broadway St. and Brock St. E around 5:30pm on October 30. Police were called to deal with a man at the business. Outside, the 32-year-old man was involved in an altercation with officers.

He was arrested and, while at the Tillsonburg OPP detachment, began to complain of pain. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
