Miletic Leads Knights Over Frontenacs

Sam Miletic scored a hat trick to help give the London Knights a 7-0 shutout victory over the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday.

JJ Piccinich drew first blood for the Knights with a goal 6:09 into the first period, with Miletic following up with two goals of his own. Piccinich was able to score his second of the night to make 4-0 going into the second.

Victor Mete started off the second frame with London's fifth goal of the night, followed by Miletic who scored with six minutes left in the period to complete his hat trick.  Janne Kuokkanen score one final goal for the Knights in the third to cap off their win.

Goaltender Tyler Parsons made 30 saves for London during the game.

The Knights are back at Budweiser Gardens on Saturday to take on the Guelph Storm at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
