Police Investigating Suspicious Fire

Police and fire officials are investigating after a blaze broke out at an abandoned home in London.

The London Police Service says on Thursday around 4:19pm, emergency crews responded to the residence at 130 Pond Mills Rd.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but police are investigating it as a possible arson. A fire inspector and London police arson detectives are expected to be at the scene overnight.

No injuries have been reported and damage is estimated at around $50,000.
