UPDATE: Snow Squall Warning Ends

Environment Canada has ended a snow squall warning for London-Middlesex.

The warning was issued on Thursday afternoon, as forecasters predicted squalls would move into the area on Thursday night and last throughout Friday.

At least in the city of London, heavy squalls didn't materialize Thursday night. However, Environment Canada maintained that there was a chance for 15-25 cm of snow in areas affected by squalls on Friday. The warning was also extended to cover Oxford County.

Motorists should continue to adjust their driving to meet any changing weather conditions. The City of London says it is prepared for any incoming snow fall, with its fleet of salters and sanders on standby.
