The London Police Service says Meghan Prouse of London had last been seen on Tuesday around 4:45pm, in the area of Adelaide St. N and Hamilton Rd.
Police and family were concerned for her welfare.
Police announced early Wednesday morning that she had been found.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
