Police Seize Meth, Pot, Pills

London police say two men are facing drug charges after officers seized methamphetamine, pot, and several prescription pills.

Officers from the Guns and Drugs squad raided a home on Elizabeth St. on Wednesday. They seized:

86g of marijuana 81g of methamphetamine 25 4mg hydromorphone tablets Five clonazapam tablets Three 18mg hydromorphone capsules $249.60 in Canadian currency

Police estimate the total value of the drugs at $9,305.

A 54-year-old man is charged with four counts of possession of the purpose of trafficking in a Schedule 1 substance.

A 44-year-old man is charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking in a Schedule 2 substance.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
