Four Charged After Weekend Fatal Stabbing

London police have released the name of a man who was stabbed and killed at a Christmas party in London on the weekend.

Police were called to The Imperio Banquet hall on Falcon St. early Sunday morning and found a man with stab wounds.

Chad Robinson, 26, of Guelph was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Seven people were arrested and taken into custody.

Police now say that four people are facing charges of assault causing bodily harm in relation to a second victim whose injuries were not life threatening.

The four charged individuals are Miguel Chacon-Perez, 27, of London; Irvin Aparicio Chicas, 26, of London; Samuel Aparicio, 25, of London; and Octavio Merino, 25, of London.

All four men are still in police custody. Charges have yet to be laid in relation to the homicide.

The three other people who were initially arrested were released without charge.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
