Murder Charge Laid In Fatal Stabbing

A charge of second degree murder has been laid in connection with the death of Chad Robinson.

The 26-year-old Guelph man was stabbed to death at a party at the Imperio Banquet Hall early Sunday morning.

London police announced Wednesday that additional charges have been laid against two of the men who were charged with assault causing bodily harm in relation to a second victim whose injuries were not life threatening.

Miguel Chacon-Perez, 27, of London is now also charged with one count of second degree murder.

Irvin Alexis Aparicio Chicas, 26, of London, has had a charge of assault laid against him.

Police say investigators have recovered a knife.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
