Brian Speers was found safe three days after he was last seen leaving his home around 8:30am on Monday.
Family and police expressed concerned for Speers' well-being at the time as he requires daily medication and can get confused and wander without it.
Police are thanking the public for their assistance in locating Speers.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
