Trailer Load Of Pork Worth $100K Stolen

Woodstock police are searching for a trailer loaded with more than $100,000 worth of meat.

The 53 ft refrigerated trailer was parked at the TA Truck Stop on Mill St. at 8pm on Christmas Eve., but when the driver return to the area around 12:30pm on Boxing Day, the trailer was gone.

Police say the trailer contained approximately 2,400 boxes of pork tenderloin, valued at $105,000.

The trailer is described as white, with G6 Logistics printed on the side. The identification plate on the trailer is G6R007. The Ontario licence plate is M67 10J.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
