Sting Stung By Knights

The London Knights downed the Sarnia Sting 4-1 in OHL action on Friday.

Victor Mete drew first blood for London with a goal 10:26 into the first period, and Liam Foudy made it 2-0 for the Knights before the second.

Jaden Lindo scored just over 13 minutes into the second frame to put Sarnia on the board, but Cliff Pu and Owen MacDonald scored before the third to give London another two unanswered goals. The Knights were able to keep the Sting at bay with neither team scoring in the third.

Despite the loss, Sarnia outshot London 42-32.

The Knights face the Sting again in Sarnia on Sunday at 2:05pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
