UPDATE: Collision Sends One Person To Hospital

A 47-year-old male has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision.

Constable Chris Loizides says the two vehicles involved in the collision are a compact vehicle and transport truck.

It's alleged that the compact vehicle made an unsafe lane change, causing the collision.

Loizides says charges are pending.

Highbury Ave. N. had been closed in both directions, between Dundas St. and Florence St. while police investigated.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
