Man Killed In St. Thomas House Fire Identified

St. Thomas police have identified the 58-year-old man killed in a house fire on New Year's Day.

Leonard T. Bradford was killed when fire broke out in a home at 42 Moore St. around 3:30am on Sunday. Fire crews found Bradford inside the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police and the Ontario Fire Marshall continue to investigate the cause of the blaze.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
