Police Identify Woman Killed In Oxford Crash

A 28-year-old East Zorra-Tavistock Township woman has been identified as the person killed in a two-vehicle crash outside of Tavistock.

Oxford OPP say Stephanie May died after two SUVs collided on Hwy. 59 at Maplewood Sideroad just after 8am last Friday. May was the driver of one of the vehicles. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

There were no witnesses to the crash, according to police.

The cause remains under investigation, although it is possible weather was a factor as it was extremely foggy at the time of the collision.
