New Stratford Police Website Launched

Stratford police launched their new website today.

It was determined in 2016 that the website needed updating, and the police service then partnered with the University of Waterloo's Stratford campus.

It became a class project a group of Global Business and Digital Arts students.

They formed teams, and each group designed a web page and social media plan.

Stratford police had to choose a winner from from an impressive selection.

The final design is being called fresh and modern, with useful information such as crime mapping, and a list of police service and community resources. Plus emergency alerts can be added to the site when necessary

The winning design was created by Team 09, Mystery Inc which includes students Jensen Chadee, Megan Demaree, Razan Qaoud, Tom Richards, and Vivian Tian.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
