Youth Charged After Vicious Assault

Middlesex OPP say a teenager is charged after a 52-year-old man was severely beaten.

Police and ambulance crews were called to a home on Main St. in Glencoe around 6:15am Saturday. The victim was taken to hospital with what police are calling life threatening injuries.

A youth was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault.

The victim's condition has since been upgraded to stable.

Police are still investigating.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
