UPDATE: Record Highs For Some Areas

Record high temperatures have been reported across southern Ontario.

In London the highest temperature was recorded in 1949 at 11.1C (52F).  That record was broken with Saturday's high reaching 14.3C (58F), according to Environment Canada.  Records have been kept in London since 1879.

Windsor also broke records, with Saturday's high reaching 18.8C at 3pm (66F). The highest temperature previously recorded was in 2011 at 12.9C.  Recordkeeping began in Windsor in 1866.

The good weather and high temperatures are expected to stick around throughout the long weekend.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
