Armed Robbery At Parkhill Credit Union

Provincial police are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery at a credit union in Parkhill.

Middlesex OPP say an armed man walked into the Mainstreet Credit Union on Main St. and demanded money around 11:30am on Monday. The man then ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt during the robbery, however, a message on the credit union's website states the branch will be closed until further notice and directs customers to the Ailsa Craig location.

Police are looking for a man described as being in his early-to-mid 30s, approximately 5'8'' tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a blue track suit, grey hoodie, white running shoes, and was last seen carrying a black bag.

Anyone who sees an individual matching the description is asked not to approach him but to call police at 1-888-310-1122.
