Charges Laid After Pedestrians Hit By Vehicle

London police say charges have now been laid after two pedestrians were seriously injured when they were hit by a vehicle.

It happened around 2:30am Saturday in the area of Empire St. and Oxford St. E.  A 20-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were hit by a vehicle. They were taken to hospital, where they are now in good condition.

The driver, a 21-year-old Strathroy man, is charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and two counts of failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
