Lightning Defeat A's 140-130

Ryan Anderson slammed 35 points as the London Lightning beat the Orangeville A's in Mono Sunday 140-130.

It was the seventh straight victory for the Lightning, who improve to 25-4 on the season.

Anderson was 13-for-20 in field goals and sank seven out of 10 free throw attempts.  He also had six rebounds for the afternoon.

Garrett Williamson added 21 points for London, including five out of six shots made from the charity line.  Julian Boyd sank an additional 21 points and led the Lightning with eight rebounds.

The game was relatively close throughout all quarters.  London maintained a 69-65 lead at halftime.  The Lightning scored 54 points in the paint to Orangeville's 46, though the A's led in bench scoring 51-36.

Anthony Harris was the scoring leader for the A's with 22 points and eight assists.  Larry Anderson chipped in 21 points and Stefan Nastic brought in 19.  Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson led in defence with eight rebounds and shared the assist lead with eight.

The Lightning welcome the Windsor Express to Budweiser Gardens Saturday night.
