A 16-year-old is in critical condition following an Easter Sunday crash in Middlesex County.
Ontario Provincial Police say that the male driver was traveling northwest on Coldstream Rd shortly before 4:30pm. Somehow the vehicle went off the road, entered a ditch, then struck a tree and caught fire.
The teen, the only occupant of the vehicle, was thrown from the car. He was rushed to hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Coldwater Rd remained closed between Gold Creek Dr and Lamont Dr as of 9:30pm, to allow the OPP to continue its investigation. Drivers are urged to find an alternate route.
The driver's name has not been released.
