Teen Dies In Coldstream Rd. Crash

A 16-year-old Middlesex Centre boy, thrown from a vehicle during a crash west of London, has died.

Cameron Ferguson was seriously injured when the vehicle he was driving on Coldstream Rd., near Komoka left the road, crashed into a tree, and burst into flames around 4:25pm on Sunday. Ferguson, who was ejected from the vehicle, was rushed to hospital.

Middlesex OPP confirmed on Monday that the teen has since died from his injuries.

The crash kept a section of Coldstream Rd. between Gold Creek Dr. and Lamont Dr. closed for seven and a half hours.

Police have not commented on the cause of the crash.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
