Police Seize $35K Worth Of Meth

More than $35,000 worth of methamphetamine was seized and two London men arrested in a drug bust by police over the weekend.

Officers with the London police guns and drugs section turned up 1 kg of methamphetamine and a 1 g vial of methamphetamine during a drug trafficking investigation on Saturday. The total value of the drugs seized is $35,400. Police also seized $2,000 in cash.

Two men were arrested in connection with the case. Police have not said where in the city the drug seizure or arrests took place.

A 42-year-old man and a 47-year-old man, both from London, are charged with drug trafficking offences.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
