City officials are expecting a big turnout at a public participation meeting for Bus Rapid Transit.
They are holding the meeting at Budweiser Gardens Wednesday afternoon to accommodate what they expect to be a large crowd.
The issue is a contentious one, drawing concern from downtown merchants and property owners who want to see the route through the downtown changed, and others who say the plan is too expensive, and others who insist that our city needs Rapid Transit in order to grow.
The meeting will take place at 4pm Wednesday.
