Truck Crashes Into Oxford St. Home

London police are investigating after a two-vehicle crash ended with one truck veering into an Oxford St. home.

Police say on Wednesday around 4:30pm, the two vehicles were traveling west on Oxford St. W when they collided west of Wharncliffe Rd. N, sending one of the vehicles careening into a house.

No one was home at the time of the crash and no one was injured.

Both vehicles and the house were significantly damaged, and a structural engineer has attended the scene to assess the damage to the home.

No charges have been laid at this time.

Police had to close one lane of Oxford St. between Fernley Ave. and Gower St. as a result of the collision.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
