Flood Watch Is Over; Water Safety Message In Effect

The water levels on the Thames River are receding, and the Upper Thames River Conversation Authority has ended its flood watch.

It has issued a water safety message as levels are still high on the rivers and streams, and the water is extremely cold and moving quickly.

UTRCA is reminding people to stay away from the banks and to keep their kids and pets away as well.

Levels are expected to recede over the next week.

There is no rain in the forecast, but last week 35-55 mm of water fell on the watershed.
