Lightning Sweep A's In Semi-Final Series

The London Lightning have swept the Orangeville A's 3-0 in the Central Division semi-final series, following a 121-102 victory on Tuesday.

London held a 29-21 lead of the A's at the end of the first quarter and extended it to a 59-41 advantage at halftime.  Orangeville couldn't catch a break in the third frame and were down 23 points going into the final quarter.  The A's gained some ground in the fourth, but couldn't catch up to the Lightning before the buzzer.

Royce White put up 30 points and 19 rebounds for London to lead all scorers, while Garrett Williamson added another 29 points of his own.

The Lightning now head to the Central Division Finals where they will take on the winner of the series between the KW Titans and the Windsor Express. Windsor currently leads the series 2-0.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
