Is Cheng Running Again?

It's looking more and more like Paul Cheng might want another shot at Matt Brown.

The former candidate for mayor, who lost to Brown in 2014, is going to make an announcement in front of London city hall on Friday afternoon.

It's not known exactly what the announcement will be, but it is possible he will announce that he plans to run for mayor in 2018.

Cheng had previously been barred from running in the 2018 election because he did not file his campaign financial reports on time.

However, Pat Maloney of the London Free Press reported in March that a legal challenge by Cheng, that was unopposed by the city, led to the penalty being lifted.
