UPDATE: Missing Man Found

UPDATE: London police announced on Monday, May 15 that Sygnan Edwards had been found and was safe.

London police are asking for the public's help as they search for a missing man.

Sygnan Edwards, 35, was last seen on April 18 at a business in Lambeth. Police say he indicated at that time that he was going to take an LTC bus to the downtown area.

Edwards is described as fair-skinned, with short dark hair and a receding hairline, 6'1” tall with a medium build. He has tattoos on both upper arms, and may use the names “Syg” or “Ziggy.” He was last seen wearing a dark blue or black vest with a dark coloured wind-breaker underneath.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information in relation to his whereabouts is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in on-line anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
