Woman Charged In Crack Bust

London police say a woman is facing charges after over $6,000 worth of crack cocaine was seized.

Officers with the London police Guns and Drugs section, along with members of the Emergency Response Unit, raided a home on Richmond St. on Thursday.

They seized 62 g of crack cocaine, 4 g of marijuana, and $1,695 in Canadian cash.

A 37-year-old woman is charged with possession of a schedule II substance and possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
