SIU Investigating Crash On Hyde Park Road

The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has been called in to investigate a crash that has sent two people to hospital.

London police were called about a robbery at a pharmacy around midnight on Saturday.

The SIU said, shortly after the robbery was reported, a vehicle allegedly connected to the robbery was spotted by local police.

The vehicle flipped onto someone's front lawn on Hyde Park Rd., north of Fanshawe Park Rd.

One person was take to hospital with unknown injuries. Meanwhile, another was found near the crash site, with serious injuries to the upper body.

Five investigators and two forensic investigators have been called in by the SIU to investigate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
