Missing Woodstock Woman Found

A Woodstock woman reported missing last week after she was seen leaving a London hotel has been found.

Yuderquis Perez-Gomez, 38, was found Thursday in the town of Brockton in Bruce County, according to her daughter Susan Tryhub.

"Some guy thought it was very cute how she was mentally ill and playing with rocks in front of the hotel and decided to pick her up and take her all the way to Brockton," said Tryhub.

She says the man dropped her mother off at a hospital and left.

Tryhub said Thursday afternoon that she was leaving to pick her mother up.

"She's in the hospital now and they're checking her out," Tryhub said.

Perez-Gomez was reported missing on Friday, May 12 after last being seen leaving the Super 8 motel on Wellington Rd. in south London. Tryhub had organized a search party that was to begin at 10am on Friday, May 19.

She says her mother suffered from a brain injury and mental health issues after she fell from a three storey building while visiting Cuba three years ago.
